Customs Clearance

From the very beginning, Campion Freight Services Ltd. became a registered Customs & Excise trader allowing us the facility to clear shipments on behalf of our customers, within minutes of their arrival at ports and airports anywhere in the country. Customs clearance is a complex function but one which we perform with the upmost professionalism, allowing us to deliver our customers shipments immediately after their arrival in the country.

Fiscal Representation

Goods being transhipped at the ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp and Zeebrugge can be cleared via a process called Fiscal Representation. This process allows importers the facility to avoid the payment of vat on their goods. Duty, if applicable, is still levied at the same rate as if the goods were cleared in Ireland. This process is of great benefit to cash-flow and also means goods are available for delivery immediately after arrival into Ireland without the need for customs clearance.
